Ragnhild May is an artist from Denmark currently living and working in Paris. Working in the field between visual arts and music, her works consists of installation, performance and sculpture. Her works has been shown internationally; recent performances and exhibitions include SuperDeluxe Tokyo (JP), The Issue Project Room (USA), Konsthall Varberg (SE), Künstlerhaus Dortmund (DE), The Danish National Gallery (DK), Künstlerhaus Wien (AT). Recent awards and grants include International Studio & Curatorial Progam (NYC), The Danish Composer Society and the Danish Arts Council.

May has an educational background in both visual arts and music: she studied at the Jutland Art Academy with professors Jørgen Michaelsen, Learning Site (Rikke Luther & Cecilia Wendt), Søren Andreasen and Brett Bloom, and Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with prof. Julian Göthe. From 2015-16 she studied Music/Sound as a Fulbright Scholar with a grant from the Danish Ministry of Culture at Milton Avery Graduate School of the Arts Bard College under Bill Dietz and Marina Rosenfelt.
